Coverage for MMA, kickboxing, boxing, and wrestling events
AIS offers Mixed Martial Arts Insurance for boxing, wrestling, kickboxing, and MMA events. The Accident Insurance (or fighter insurance) can be purchased stand-alone. The liability policy is available with the purchase of accident coverage for the MMA Event Insurance.
Participant Accident Coverage
This MMA event insurance provides medical coverage for injured fighters. Make sure to check with your state boxing commission to determine your insurance requirements (called “limits”). Premiums are based on:
- the amount of accident limit selected, and
- whether your fighters are amateur, professional or a combination of both.

General Liability Insurance
MMA liability insurance will be required by the event venue. If you don’t already have liability insurance for your event, you can purchase the MMA event liability policy with a $1,000,000 limit. Higher limits are available. The MMA liability insurance provides protection for the promoters, employees, staff, and volunteers against claims of bodily injury liability, property damage liability, personal and advertising injury liability, and the litigation costs to defend against such claims.
